Sometimes, the seemingly strong are the ones who feel the weakest inside.
The seemingly harmless comments that are just passed off, have the potential to build up a wall of hurt. Knowing this, why not use a compliment as the driving force that knocks this wall down? The words you say, or even a simple act of kindness may just be the thing that encourages a person. It may make them realize that life isn't as bad as it seems.
Think about it.... Make a difference.

Please Read This .... the whole entire thing :)
I read this in an email and i thought i would share this with everyone (this is a shorter version) it was in chinese before but i'll translate... credits to whoever wrote it.
My father and I were taking our routine walk the other day. As we walked we noticed a funeral was going on. Dad had stopped walking and asked me what time it was. I answered 10:25. Then he said "Son what do you see?" I told him i saw people going to the funeral. after that he kept talking, so i figured he had no intentions of leaving yet. some time had passed by and he asked again.. "son what time is it?" I looked at my watch and it said 10:55. He asked.." what do you see now? " i replied.. "now i see people leaving the funeral." My father said "you see, the preacher has summed up that persons life in 25 minutes. the things that mattered most in the persons life was mentioned by the preacher. son whenever you are feeling upset, remember this story i told you. the obstacles you encounter in life may feel big at that moment but when you look back at it will they actually make it into the 25 minutes? just remeber to keep an open heart."

Remember when...
My cousin is the most adorable little girl. I was sitting on the couch watching tv when she walked up and squeezed in the little spot to the right of me. there was much more space on the left side .. 4 well grown men could have sat there or she could have laid across comfortably ..., but she decided in her little mind to squeeze in next to me. now in my mind, i was thinking "aww you are so cute!.. but you must be squished cause there is really no space separating us." so i moved over a little bit.... but the next thing that happened surprised me and i didnt really know why. she moved over too. She sat right next to me and allowed no space in between us. then she looked up, innocently smiled and kept on watching tv. I couldnt figure out what made her do that until a memory slammed me in the head the next few seconds. I remebered how i did that exact same thing. Maybe i did that because it felt safe to know that someone could be right there to protect. when dad would watch tv i would sit right next to him. he would purposely move over to see what i would do, and as he predicted in his mind, i did the same thing. as i smiled remebering this, i put my arm around her and gave her a hug leaving her with a questioning face, but she never verbally questioned that action.

what if you could go into people's dreams and plant the seed of an idea??? ... INCEPTION
Hmm..today i didnt really know what to write about until 2 minutes ago. and 2 minutes ago this idea popped into my head: i saw the movie inception yesterday. i have to say that i would rate it a good 4.5 stars!!!!.. out of 5 stars. and we all no that if you dont like the story line all that much, Leonardo Di Caprio made up for it ;) haha honestly, i loved the plot and the characters. the movie had already come out for a bit i think.. but the theatre was still pretty full. if you didnt know, the movie is about how Cobb(leonardo) and his crew can go into peoples dreams. i wont say the rest, because i'll leave that for you all to find out. the only downside is that its a long movie.. 2 hours and 28 minutes.. but i was fine with that. oh and the ending is gonna kill you! literally everyone in the theatre went ohhhhh/awwww!!!, whenever they movie was done.
p.s. i'd love to know what you all thought... and what you think the ending to inception meant?? :)

2010 China World Expo.. and other experiences in China
Not long ago i went to the most crowded place in the world....China's 2010 Shi Bo World Expo. it was an unforgettable experience but talk about crowdedness... if you wanna know what its like to be stuck in the middle of a million people pushing you in 90 something degree weather you can just go there. FYI: You dont wanna wait for an hour in the lines in front of the expos?? You can either --> 1. bring the elderly with you, 2. pretend your pregnant, or 3. pretend you have some handicap. (just kidding! dont do that on purpose... please. haha but seriously if you have your grandparents with you, or you are legitly pregnant or something you can get a wheel chair and a pass and they'll let you thru the fast lane.. its like zoom! and then your in the building and everyone else in line just stares haha) so on with the expo. i heard a saying and it was "if you dont go to the expo you regret it but if you go you regret it even more." you can be the judge of whether or not you want to go... the fact is that it is an insanely huge place. kind of like disney's epcot but more detailed and accurate. honestly you couldnt even go thru all of the expos in one day unless you had some time machine or something. but something i was deffinatley satisfied with was .......... the bathrooms. they were clean and supplied! i was in china visiting and most of the public restrooms i went to were like toilet bowls in the ground.... ive actually been to one where the "toilet" was a long ditch that ran thru the row of stalls. im guessing that it randomly flushed from somewhere but the stall i was in couldnt control that. ALSO be sure to buy toilet paper and bring it with you everywhere you go because more than likely there wont be any in the bathroom. If you ever go to China, try to go to Hangzhou. It is absolutley beautiful there.
